April 11th 2008 we welcomed a new family member to our family! Lucy Jean Smith weighed 6 lbs 10 oz. and was 20 inches long. She is now 5 weeks old and almost sleeping through the night (about 5 hours at a time!) Kaleb and Abby are CRAZY about her. They love to hold her and help retrieve anything I need when I am holding her (burp cloth, pacifier) . They even love to throw away dirty diapers without me even asking! I love my little helpers!
